Unfortunately it was already getting late in the day and this example was near unphotographable. Just as well I took the photo of the signboard.
Luang Namtha and Muang Sing are likable places far away from nearly everything unless you take a particular interest in the border of Laos meeting Burma and China. Many local and distinctive tribes and beautiful scenery.
Around 5 km before reaching Muang Sing town from Luang Namtha, the Pha Gneung Phou Ku Lom waterfall is, besides a mouthfull, just 100m off the road. Again nothing special, but a nice break. Not high (5m), no swimming pool underneath.
